ABSTRACT

Objective:To evaluate the role of virtual bronchoscopy intelligent system in improving the theory and operation level of bronchoscopy in pulmonary and critical care medicine (PCCM) teaching for standardized training specialists. Methods:A total of 50 PCCM physicians who had participated in virtual bronchoscopy training in Xijing Hospital, Air Force Medical University from 2018 to 2021 were selected as research subjects. In this study, self-controlled method was adopted to evaluate the change of assessment indicators after 1 week and 2 weeks of training. Questionnaire survey was also used to evaluate the training effect. SPSS 23.0 software was used for paired t-test and Chi-square test. Results:All the 50 PCCM physicians successfully completed the training of virtual bronchoscopy operation. The theoretical score was significantly improved after the training [(80.0±5.2) points vs. (92.4±3.8) points]. The basic operation time [(1 050.9±103.3) s vs. (386.4±47.7) s], and the number of hitting the bronchial wall [(88.3±12.7) times vs. (27.0±5.3) times] were significantly reduced. The recovery rate of alveolar lavage fluid [(27.6±7.4)% vs. (58.0±8.2)%] and the positive rate of biopsy [(19.2±13.1)% vs. (86.8±10.8)%] were significantly increased. The learning curve of the final score indicated that the score improved more rapidly in the first week of training, and the score improved more slowly in the second week of training. Questionnaires before and after the training indicated that virtual intelligent training could significantly improve the confidence and proficiency of students in bronchoscopy. Conclusion:Through the systematic training of virtual bronchoscopy intelligent system, the PCCM physicians have significantly improved their theoretical knowledge and operational proficiency. Therefore, the virtual bronchoscopy training system has practical significance for improving the overall training effect of clinical bronchoscopy for PCCM trainees, which is worthy of promotion.

ABSTRACT

ObjectiveTo evaluate the implementation effect of the basic public health service project in Jiangbei District of Chongqing, so as to provide a basis for further improving the service content and social/economic benefits of the project. MethodsThe evaluation was conducted according to the “National Basic Public Health Service Regulations”, “National Basic Public Health Service Project Performance Evaluation Guidance Plan” and the assessment indicators, indicator requirements and weights of each project. The items were evaluated one by one, and each item was calculated and compared to obtain the trends in the three years from 2018 to 2020. ResultsThe evaluation results showed that the twelve contents of the basic public health service projects in Jiangbei District either met or exceeded the national requirements. The overall effect increased year by year, from 71.73 to 78.74 points. Eight of the twelve service contents have improved year by year, among which the report and processing of information related to infectious diseases and public health emergencies reached 100%, and the vaccination rate of “eight vaccines” reached 97%. Maternal and children (0-6 years old) health care increased significantly, rising by 39.89% and 36.62% respectively. Chronic disease health management was unsatisfactory. ConclusionThe effects of implementation of the basic public health service project is significant, and the service quality has improved year by year. The service content and assessment indicators are still imperfect and is worth of further research.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the formulation of the evaluation system of nuclear emergency medical rescue drills. Methods:By using the analytic hierarchy process, theoretical analysis and expert consultation, the evaluation system was established, and online questionnaires were used to investigate student satisfaction. Excel software was used for data entry, Matlab 6.5 software was used for weight calculation, and questionnaire data were authorized to SPSSAU online platform to analyze the correlation coefficient between trainees' attitude towards drills and satisfaction of the evaluation system. Results:An evaluation system of nuclear emergency medical rescue drills composed of multiple indicators was constructed, and the weights of each indicator of the system were obtained. The corresponding weights for group comprehensive proficiency, topic theoretical oral examination, personal practice and virtual system were 0.108, 0.557, 0.280 and 0.054, respectively. Simultaneously, the evaluation of the system by the trainees was investigated, and it was found that there was a significant correlation between the trainee's attitude towards the drills and satisfaction with the system. Conclusion:The nuclear emergency medical rescue evaluation system formed in this research is expected to provide theoretical methods for comprehensive evaluation of students' knowledge and capabilities, and at the same time it's helpful to improve the nuclear emergency rescue capabilities of students.

ABSTRACT

Objective To develop an assessment indicator system of function for standardized patients in the objective structured clinical examination for nursing specialty, which provides the basis for the standardized training and assessment of standardized patients. Methods The Delphi method was used to determine this indicator system. Results After two rounds of the Delphi procedure, the assessment indicator system was drawn-up,which included 3 first-class indicators and 12 second-class indicators and 35 third-class indicators with weights. Conclusions The achievements of this study may provide reference for nursing educators to screen standardized patients strictly and improve the quality of standardized patients continuously, and also provide the basis for development of scale or instrument in the further.

ABSTRACT

Objective To build the theoretical system model and research assessment indicators for equalization of basic medical and health services of both urban and rural residents. This aims at providing a theoretical and empirical basis for advancing basic medical health system covering rural and urban residents. Methods Literature research and Delphi expert consultation are used to build the indicator model and structure. The extremal standard method, health resources sharing by geography method,Gini coefficient method and other statistical analysis were used for an empirical analysis and test in an eastern provincial capital city. Results The indicator system comprises three dimensions of opportunity, process and result,as well as seven second-level indicators of health financing, resource allocation, accessibility etc.and twenty-seven third-level indicators. The grand mean value of the urban and rural regional indicators for H city in 2010 was calculated as 63.53,while the mean values for urban and rural were 74.75 and 45.58 respectively. Conclusion The assessment indicators focus on three combinations:basic public health services and basic medical services, service supply and demand,as well as the number and quality of services. This approach can help with the assessment of equalization of basic medical and health service for urban and rural areas and policy making.
